You Reap What You Sow

Well, I made my way up to Prison this past Sunday to get my dig on. I was a little surprised to find the ground still frozen. The puddles that had formed the days before were now three inch tall crystal spires of ice. I, of course for got the camera. I was pretty bummed to say the least. I grabbed a shovel anyway and was able to break through the upper crust. It was laborious work, but I wasn't going to wait any longer. I have to ride trails, SOON! The more I put my old back into it the more things started to go my way. The Sun poked it's head up over the bare tree line and began helping my efforts. I could literally see steam rising off my head. The frozen chucks gave in to my chopping and hacking and began mixing into the sweet soil below. Aching, I stood for a bit and thought I was hearing things. I heard Rice Krispies popping. I was getting hungry, but... It was the ground thawing right in front of my eyes. Pretty wild. That naturally inspired me to continue scraping and shaving and sculpting. The frozen earth slowly turned to slimy, wet mud to mix with. I unfortunately was short on time and had to be back in Boston to open Timeless at noon. Just when things were getting good. I was able to get three landing and a flat bottom ready for the equally laborious packing. I don't mind the blisters on my palms and aching back. Riding trails is such an amazing feeling to me. "You reap what you sow" and nothing worth while comes easy. I was simply paying my dues. A free pass to a Summer of riding dirt.

so today is my burfday and i feel like an old man but hey im just that much closer to being able to get totalled at bars with tony yums in lowell but ill keep in mind not to fallow the diaper kings foot steps and walk out side and just start pissin on the sidewalk with a cop across the street hahaha peace naggers... - Mike D

that would be joel aka raptor aka reptar aka chromulo's modo when there is too much space inbetween two jumps. Speaking of rollers we finished the two at the start off today. Gnarnia is getting there and will be a blast as soon as it's ridable. Get off your lazy bums and help dig or just come hangout, or you could challenge beezy to a mui tai match.

well prison trails are coming along nicely the chode man AKA jody came down and helped throw some dirt around yesturday i tryed to dig but my headcold wasnt having it so i sat around blowing snots all over the jumps as jody and yums laughed at me. i should be in school welding random peices of metal together right now but i woke up coughing up some really nice green loogies and didnt feel like breathing in metal dust all day... so i've sittin on the net lookin for a new VW to race around Chillerica in but no luck yet. but anyways if ya feelin saucey and wanna help dig ill be at the trails pretty much everyday till the snow comes back.
